Biographical Information for Mark E. Dauberman, CPA

 

Mark Dauberman taught his first university accounting class in 1969 and has been involved in accounting education since.  He obtained his bachelors degree in accounting from California State University at Northridge (CSUN) in June of 1970, and has taken graduate courses at CSUN, Claremont Graduate School, UCLA, and USC.

Mark’s public accounting experience includes working with various local firms throughout high school and college, and employment with Kenneth Leventhal & Company.  More recently he was a partner at NSBN, a Beverly Hills CPA and business consulting firm, where he served as director of the audit practice and was responsible for recruiting, training, business development, quality control, and strategic planning for the firm.

Mark’s industry experience ranges from serving as assistant controller of a large trucking and warehousing firm to serving as Vice President of Finance and Administration for a major real estate development company.

Mark also spent nearly 30 years as an entrepreneur, operating a business that prepared individuals for the CPA exam

Mark is currently a technical accounting and auditing consultant to CPA firms as well as small public companies.  As a public speaker, he provides CPE and technical staff training to CPA firms and members of the accounting profession, with a specialization in auditing and accounting topics, fraud, and strategic planning.  He is also a keynote motivational speaker providing his insights on entrepreneurship, goal setting, time management, dealing with stress, coping with crises, ethics, and how to avoid being a victim of fraud.
